Strawberry Bavarian Cream Torte

I'm bringing this to a friend's house for dessert; we're invited for dinner and music. It's a vanilla sponge, sliced; layered with Bavarian cream and sliced fresh strawberries. In the sponge cake, I replaced half of the butter with the solid coconut butter in a can of coconut milk (full fat). The syrup used to moisten the cake is flavored with orange zest, with chantilly cream. Garnish with strawberries, orange zest, coconut, and candied oranges.
I had completely forgotten about the cake slicer that I recently purchased and brought with me (for this very reason) this weekend. I used a long serrated knife. although it sliced well, I did an uneven job. We'll see how it turns out; I'll post pics later... no matter what!
