Use your favorite biscuit recipe or mix. I used the red and white checked cookbook version, using butter. Then I added about a cup of cheddar cheese, some minced scallions, and 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. Brush with melted butter (with garlic) before, and AFTER baking.

The red and white checked cookbook is Better Homes and Garden, right? Also wondering... are these biscuits similar to the always popular Red Lobster biscuits?
ReplyDeleteYep, just like the RL biscuits. There are copycat recipes on the web, using a baking mix. And yep, BH&G, it was a wedding present, the cover is quite faded after 30 years!
