This is pretty much the recipe on the back of the onion soup mix, for meatloaf. I put half a packet of soup mix into 1 lb of Touchstone Angus ground beef. Added a healthy squirt of catsup, a handful of oatmeal (instead of breadcrumbs), pepper, and an egg. Formed into meatballs, rolled in flour, browned them. I made a tan roux, added water and the rest of the soup mix. Put it all in a slow cooker for the afternoon.
